Fey's Spellcraft Experiment

A working to get myself better became a matter of serious priority when after three weeks, I was still suffering from a flu-like chest affliction. I was content to let nature take its course until I realized that I was *still* sick and that I needed to be in tip top shape for Monday, when my presence was required at The Euphorium to help put finishing touches on the store's display.

On Friday, I decided enough was enough and I did three things - one mundane, and the last two magickal. The mundane was this: I stopped working. I stopped doing *anything*. I told my body that I was sorry for pushing it so hard and I let it go to bed, but not before I did the following:

A long hot soak in a magically charged tub full o' epsom salts and eucalyptus oil. First, I made the salts by putting about 20 drops of eucalyptus oil into 2 cups of epsom salts. While making them up, I kept the intention of 'healing' in mind.

Once the salts were thoroughly mixed, I charged them with energy I pulled up from the earth and down from the sky. I usually allow some of my own energy to mingle with the 'pulled' energies during such a working, but I was in *no condition* to spare any energy at all, so I kept myself in check. As I pulled, I repeated my intention - that these salts were for the specific purpose of healing my body and assisting my immune system in battling this virus. I directed that energy into the salts and visualized a healing green light  as I did so.

I had a fabulous bath, all the while maintaining the intention of healing, and when I was done, I put myself to bed.

Each night from Friday 'till Sunday, I did some 'light work'. I was instructed by my intuition that the salts were doing their thing, but I also needed red light directed at my respiratory system. I did as my intuition told me, asking my Higher Power for red light that wasn't derived from my own personal energetic system but from the heat of the sun, and directed that light at my respiratory system. I bathed in that light and felt the warmth of power of it just as clearly as if it were warm water.

This morning, lo and behold, I was a 100% better. Not a hundred percent, but certainly well enough to do what needed doing. As the day progressed, I felt better and better, and I'm happy to say that I am well and truly on the mend.

Experiment #1: Four Stars out of Five

Fey's Spellcraft Experiment is a series of spells crafted by Fey to assist her in things spiritual and mundane. The mission of this experiment is to see first hand what spellcraft brings to her life. She invites you to join her on the journey as she records the spells she performs and their results as honestly and objectively as possible.

  1. I'm so happy you're feeling better! Balance!

  2. Glad you're feeling better. This is a very cool idea. I think I'll do something similar.

  3. I enjoyed reading about this. As you discussed in a previous podcast, I think it's awesome to incorporate magick into the more mundane aspects of life. Simply incorporating a little mindfulness, setting an intention. . . viola. This is an awesome example, and has inspired an idle mind.

  4. I always forget to incorporate magical workings along with my mundane ones. Like you I tended to think that magic was only for important moments. It's a reminder that not all magical workings need to be magical... only spiritual, if that makes any sense. Thank you for sharing I find the experiments very interesting.
